Yesterday 11/19/11 my best friend Amanda Mayo passed away.
She always had a way of making everyone smile. She would drag me out of the house and take me on adventures that always involved nasty burritos at Betos, and getting crazy off horchatas. When I wanted to sit around and read she would drag me to the car and we'd be off. We would always hop in the car not knowing where we were going to go, but always ended up doing something awesome and insane. Amanda always kept in touch with me, even after I moved out of Logan. She was always up to trying something new, and always had things she wanted to do. She wanted to learn guitar, and within a month she had a guitar and was picking out songs. When she had a goal, she always stuck with it.
I love you Nemo! Can't wait to see you again.

Yummy Recipes
I recently started a goal where I would cook more. Here are a few of the recipes i've mastered
in the last couple of months.
Cafe Rio Pork!
http://www.thepickyapple.com/blog/2010/06/13/cafe-rio-sweet-pork-salad/
This recipe is top notch! I always figured that my weakness with cooking was mostly meat! I was wrong, and now I love it!
Cinnamon Roll Cake
http://cookinupnorth.blogspot.com/2011/07/cinnamon-roll-cake.html
This cake is simply divine. The first time I made it, it was gone too fast! The recipe is very simple, and is just plain delicious.
Crockpot Italian Chicken
http://www.the-girl-who-ate-everything.com/2009/07/crockpot-italian-chicken.html
Apparently this recipe is very well known. Although, I had never tried it before! It is so simple and delicious. I love that I can just throw everything in the pot on sunday and come home to dinner. We tried it on both rice and noodles, but rice was our favorite. I made this when we had some friends over a couple weeks ago and they loved it!
As a side note, I don't take credit for these recipes. I found them on Pinterest which led me to several blogs. These blogs have some great ideas so be sure to check them out. Or just get a Pinterest account :)
